Hello & Welcome!
My name is Brandon Gaikowski. The 2016-2017 school year will be my 6th year of teaching first grade with Belle Plaine Public Schools. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Pre-Primary specialty and a minor in Special Education from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN back in 2011. I am originally from Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, watching movies, spending time with friends & family, being outdoors, exercising and weight lifting. I also LOVE the Minnesota Vikings! SKOL!!!!
“Making learning meaningful and FUN” is my teaching motto and something I strive towards daily. Who said coming to school every day had to be boring?? At the end of each day my hope is that my first graders learn a few things (academic, social or life lessons) while having a blast doing so and creating positive memories along the way.
I love working for Belle Plaine Public Schools because of the tremendously supportive community and the wonderful families that walk through our doors!
