I grew up in Fargo, ND and graduated from Fargo South High School in 1984. I graduated from Moorhead State University in 2007 with a Bachelors in Special Education in the areas of Specific Learning Disabilities and Emotional/Behavioral Disorders. I went on to obtain my Master of Science Education with specializations in Special Education Teaching and Reading/Literacy.

I live in Chaska, MN with my husband and our soon to be "21" year old son, Cody. I enjoy traveling, attending Twins games, baking, reading, and spending time with my family. I have Pomeranian dog named, Oso which means bear in Spanish.

I teach special education at the junior/high school primarily with the 7th and 8th grades. This school year I will be teaching Reading Skills to grades 7-12 along with Applied Skills and Student Support Skills. I am starting my 6th school year at Belle Plaine and my 10th year of teaching.
