Meet Mrs. Greisen!

Hello Fourth Graders and Families!  My name is Mrs. Marci Greisen (rhymes with “bison” J) and I’ve taught 4th grade in Belle Plaine for over ten years now.   I grew up on a farm outside the small town of Nicollet and attended the University of Wisconsin-  River Falls.  I also earned my Master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University.  My husband, Dave, is a special education teacher at St. Peter High School.  We reside in Saint Peter and have three energetic children who keep us on our toes.
This year will be full of exciting experiences in fourth grade: the River Rendezvous field trip in a couple weeks, participating in the Kindness Retreat in January, building bluebird houses at the Ney Center this spring, and learning lots of neat stuff along the way.  I can’t wait to get our journey started and hope you’re as ready as I am.
I am very excited to work with the dedicated team of fourth grade teachers this year!   We have many new ideas we are planning to incorporate throughout the year.  I look forward to meeting you and working together to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of your child.  I truly believe that parents are the most important teachers in a child’s life.  Please feel free to call, send a note, or email if you have any questions or concerns at any time.
