Welcome To Kindergarten!

My name is
Mrs. Goodloe and I teach Kindergarten at Chatfield Elementary. This year we will do wonderful things and grow as learners. I look forward to all the good things that will happen when we are good together!

I grew up in Tomah, Wisconsin and then attended Minnesota State, Mankato for my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Preprimary Education. I taught preschool for almost two years and then Alternative Kindergarten. I started teaching here in 2011. I'm happy to now know many people in the Belle Plaine community and feel at home here! Chatfield is a wonderful place to teach and learn. In 2015 I graduated with my Masters in Education K-12 with an emphasis in Curriculum & Instruction from St. Mary's University.

At the beginning of the year, your child may share with you that we have recorded our hopes and dreams for Kindergarten. As we discover these goals, it is my hope that you will share your hopes and dreams for their year of Kindergarten, too.

My goal for the year is to create a positive environment for my students to grow as individuals and to work together as a team. It is also my hope that the families of my students and I can work together as a team in supporting their growth and achievements. They will grow so much! They will achieve so much! Please join me throughout the year in praising their development as people and students.
